"Scam-Scriptions" - The Latest Scam

This scam company ran ads on Facebook for $10 trial courses for learning to draw comics. Of course, being an art student since 1981 I was excited to expand my skills.

As soon as I signed up, I found that the site was just JPEGS and nothing was downloadable for the advertised beginner level of comics.

I tried to find some method on the site to get the PDFs or some download, and wrote to the company MULTIPLE TIMES; no response was provided.

I went back to PayPal and requested a refund as this product was not as advertised and I went back to the site to find a place to CLOSE the account. No such opportunity existed and there was no indication that this was a SUBSCRIPTION, AND NO WHERE WAS THAT MENTIONED OR ADVERTISED.

PayPal provided the $10 refund.

I paid no mind to this scam company until July 4th, 2024.

There was a charge from TFC for $89.00.

I got taken too...

I NEVER AGREED TO THIS OR SIGNED UP FOR A SUBSCRIPTION TO THIS SCAM SITE.

PayPal has refused to reverse the charge, and suddenly, some scammer named SEBASTIAN is writing to me offering me 50% off his lifetime deal.

Last year not one word or email for contact.

This year he's telling me I cannot get a refund. Yet, right there on the TFC SCAM site it states that there are no strings attached. Bullshit.

Well folks, I called my bank, explained the situation and they BLOCKED any charges from this company moving forward. As PayPal has sided with the SCAMMERS, and the bank blocked the charges, PayPal removed my bank account from their system.

Well that's just fine with me. I am removing all of my auto-pays off of PayPal and will be closing the Business Account and finding another payment solution for clients. I can enter credit card information directly into trustworthy sites and PayPal, you lose all of the proceeds from processing all of those accounts from me.

TrainingForComics is a scam site - the owners use the site to collect payment information and then use it to bill you indefinitely, without warning and without any notification. They also hide behind non-existent billing agreements that no one has ever seen.

This is ILLEGAL and since there is no address visible on thier site, no contact information, I have had to resort to filing with the Attorney General of my state and see what they can do.

There will be a contact form on the site for anyone else who might have gotten ripped off and to share their story here so we can warn others about this scam operation.
